Iveco Bus commemorates 125th anniversary of production at its Vysoké Mýto plant

Czech Republic – The Iveco Bus plant in Vysoké Mýto, which was home to the historical manufacturing brands of Sodomka and Karosa, is celebrating its 125th anniversary.

Located 180km east of Prague, it has a long-lasting tradition of producing intercity buses and coaches. With more than 3,800 employees (plus 1,700 subcontractors), it is one of the largest employers in the Czech Republic and Eastern Europe, and is Europe’s largest bus manufacturer, with more than 4,000 vehicles built a year.
