Peruvian CV market falls by 22.5% but AAP forecasts recovery in 2021

Peru - The Peruvian market reached sales of 12,909 heavy commercial vehicles, a decrease of 22.5% compared with 2019, when it registered 16,650 vehicles.

According to AAP (Automotive Association of Peru), the truck segment totalled 10,773 units, down 12.8% compared with 12,348 vehicles in 2019. The bus segment (which includes small buses from 6t gvw) reached sales of 2,136 units, 50.3% below sales in 2019, which registered 4,302 vehicles.
