VWCO reaches 5,000 vehicle exports to Colombia

Colombia / Brazil - Volkswagen Caminhões e Ônibus Ltda (VWCO) of Resende, Rio de Janeiro in December 2020 passed an export milestone of 5,000 commercial vehicles delivered to Colombia. The official 5,000th unit to be exported was a Constellation 19,360 V-Tronic truck.

VWCO says it has been exporting to Colombia for some 23 years; in 1997 it started with two 8.140 Volksbus models to the country. The Delivery 9.150 truck is the model to have been exported the most to Colombia.
However, the most VW models to be exported in the year 2020 to Colombia were the Delivery 11.180 and 9.170 trucks, the Constellation 17.280 both rigid chassis and tractor versions, and Constellation 19.360 4x2 and 31.330 6x4 models.
