Mellor presents Sigma 8 at Euro Bus Expo

UK – Mellor Coachcraft Ltd, a subsidiary of WN VTech Ltd based in Rochdale, UK, presented for the first time the 8.7-metre version of the ‘Sigma’ range of battery-electric buses at the Euro Bus Expo, held at the NEC in Birmingham between 1 and 3 November.
The Sigma 8 was launched back in May, but Euro Bus Expo marked its public debut as it was shown alongside the Sigma 7 and 10 (which were unveiled in December and launched in February). As with the 7, the Sigma 8 is fitted with a Dana electric driveline and CATL batteries. A 9.4-metre bus (the ‘Sigma 9’) with almost identical specifications became available at the same time as the Sigma 8.
