Mercedes-Benz and Comil partner to offer new tourist coach for Costa Rica

Brazil / Costa Rica – The country of Costa Rica is now able to offer a new coach chassis / body combination from Brazil - Mercedes-Benz do Brasil Ltda of São Bernardo do Campo, SP and bus body builder, Comil Ônibus S.A. of Erechim, Rio Grande do Sul State, have collaborated to build a coach for exporting to Costa Rica, which will be a first in the country’s history.
The new coach, which is designed for charter and tourism applications comprises the Mercedes-Benz O 500 RS 1836 rear engine chassis and Comil’s Campione Invictus body. The first model was delivered to Costa Rica in November last year, which is now undergoing a tour of Costa Rica as a demonstrator to raise awareness in the country.
