Government aims to reduce CO2 emissions with increased use of biofuels in transportation

By using HVO instead of diesel, Volvo claims it can replace up to 1,125,000 gallons of diesel annually, achieving an emissions reduction of 75% to 85% from its operations in North America.

The pilot vehicle is a Marcopolo-bodied bus with a Scania chassis capable of running on biodiesel from locally-sourced waste, such as animal manure and other agricultural waste.

Radius announced that UK HGV (over 7.5 tonnes) drivers can now pre-book and pay for parking and truck washing services at 119 UK truck stops through its fuel card.

The supply agreement is in support of the Baidyanath company’s plan to create a network of LNG refuelling stations in strategic locations across Central India.

The biomethane bus trial in Londrina is the third demonstration by Compagas and Scania in 2023; the first being in the Metropolitan Region of Curitiba, and then in the capital city of Curitiba.
