The company confirmed that the first batch of trucks have been delivered to TruKKer, a digital-based logistics company operating in the Middle East.

This agreement is expected to enable both Ashok Leyland and Nidec to work together in developing electric drive motors and control systems that will cater to the specific needs of India's commercial vehicle industry.

This acquisition triples Hexagon Agility's mobile service capabilities and extends its service network across the United States and Canada. Services such as field service, technical training, and parts distribution will help reduce vehicle downtime and therefore TCO for Hexagon Agility’s clients.

The move marks a USD 30 million investment to produce small and midsize buses, including electric and non-electric models, and aims to double Micro Bird’s production capacity by the end of 2025.
