BYD has delivered 100 e-buses to Uruguayan bus operator Cutcsa. The K9UD 12.2 metre low-floor electric bus has a maximum capacity of 90 passengers and is equipped with a 422 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery, providing a range of up to 450 kilometres on a single charge.

100 more Volterra ZSL vehicles will join Republic Services’ fleet, following the fulfilment of a 50-unit order placed a year ago.

Stagecoach told Truck & Bus Builder that the 715 buses come from a range of different suppliers, including: Alexander Dennis; Wrightbus; Pelican Yutong; and Volvo Buses.

The ‘eTGX’ was handed over to automotive supplier Dräxlmaier of Vilsbiburg, who will use it to transport batteries to the Porsche factory in Leipzig, Saxony.
