Wabash began production of the 2026 DuraPlate Dry Van on 1 December last year, adding a new braking system and a lighter body.

Built for caged goods, the fleet comprises 31 rigid bodies mounted on Scania P280 high-roof sleeper cabs and two on Mercedes Atego models.

Several of the vehicles were shown in order to promote the work that Poindexter’s brands have done to design bodies which are better suited to the characteristics and demands of the electric driveline: one of these was ‘Project Blackjack’, a proof-of-concept vehicle with a lightweight and aerodynamic Morgan truck body.
