The JV has procured 16 hectares of land in Weilheim, Germany, with plans to establish a large-scale production facility responsible for producing its NextGen fuel cell systems. The start of production at the Weilheim site is planned to align with the introduction of EU CO2 legislation, currently estimated around 2030.

This marks a significant milestone in the company's growth strategy which aligns with Great Dane's long-term vision to enhance operational efficiency and increase their regional market presence in the truck body sector.

The new plant will produce wiring systems for the CV industry in order to meet the growing demand in that segment of the business.
