Volvo will use the money awarded by the EU’s innovation fund to slash carbon emissions from its manufacturing processes at Skövde by as much as 88%.

A total of 37 vehicles, including H2 fuel cell and combustion engine-powered coaches and trucks, will be deployed on 10 different routes across the country.

In that article, Richard and Kara Demirjian outlined their plan to open a 260,000-square-foot “Clean Energy Innovation Hub” comprised of three facilities: a plant dedicated to the production of compressors for electric vehicles; a whole-vehicle test centre; and an academy to train the next generation of EV technicians.
