Brazil - Iveco Latin America Ltda of Sete Lagoas, Minas Gerais, Brazil recorded growth of 42% in the first quarter of 2021 in the Brazilian commercial vehicle market. This strong result, Iveco says, is due to the efforts and investments that the automaker has been making in the last five years to improve its products, set up the sales network, optimize and give more efficiency to its customers' operations.

In addition to growing 42%, Iveco says its market share increased by one percentage point in the period and this growth was across all weight segments; light, +13%; in medium, +95%; in semi-heavy, +79%, and in heavy, +61% growth. Iveco says the figures show a solid growth trend with much emphasis on the Tector family in the medium to medium-heavy, which almost doubled in volume.
