Carrier consolidates Iberian market presence with dedicated sales in Portugal

France / Portugal – On 1 September, Carrier Transicold Europe, a manufacturer of transport refrigeration units based in Rueil-Malmaison, France, established a dedicated truck-trailer refrigeration sales and aftermarket organisation in Portugal. The move consolidates the company’s presence in the Iberian Peninsula.
For more than forty years, Carrier products have been distributed in the region by official dealer Frindus, whose service centres in Cascais, Oeiras and Sintra will continue to assist Carrier customers. Jose Antonio Gomes, appointed as Country Sales and After-sales Manager for the region at Carrier, will be responsible for leading new equipment sales and for expanding the company’s aftersales network in Portugal.
