Einride Smartcharger Station in Roserberg Sweden

Sweden – In collaboration with infrastructure developer Polar Structure, Swedish software development company and autonomous vehicle fleet operator, Einride AB*, has opened a Smartcharger Station for heavy electric vehicles in Rosersberg, Sweden. This will be the first station of several in the country with another set to open in Varberg next year. The charging station will service both business operators and members of the public with nine charging points, with a total charging capacity of up to 800 kW.

There are two parts of the station, the Charge & Go for fast charging and Charge & Park for overnight charging. The fast-charging segment has charging points with output up to 240 kW and the overnight charging section, with output up to 160 kW.  The station is partially powered by wind power and in 2024 will incorporate hydropower. On site, there is also a "lounge" which has a toilet, shower and kitchen. Here you can also see the charging status, remaining time, power output and performance on screens or via an app.
