USA – Vehicle builder and chassis producer, Workhorse Group Inc of Cincinnati, USA – a subsidiary since 2013 of AMP Holdings Inc of Lewisburg, Pennsylvenia - has formed a strategic partnership with Michigan-based Prefix Corporation for the final design, development and production of its N-GEN1 series of all-electric medium delivery vehicles.

Both companies are focused on building an electric chassis platform to support 650, 1,000 and 1,200 cubic feet delivery van capacities. This new delivery van range is to be built on a low floor electric chassis platform developed by Workhorse, while Prefix is to develop, build and supply the 100% composite cab and body. This plan to share a common cab and chassis configuration is geared to streamline cost and production efficiencies.
