Volvo expects to double production at Plattsburgh plant after major order for Prévost coach

USA / Canada / Sweden - The New York operator, MTA has awarded Volvo Buses’ Canadian subsidiary, Prévost Car of Sainte-Claire, Quebec two contracts for up to 330, X3-45 commuter coaches, with a firm order of 307 vehicles to be delivered between 2020 and 2022, and options for 23 additional coaches.
Commenting on this order, Håkan Agnevall, president of Volvo Buses, said: “We are sincerely proud and grateful for the continued trust that MTA is putting in the Volvo team by awarding Prévost the largest order ever in the history of the company.
