BYD and Marcopolo build first articulated electric city bus in Brazil

First full all-electric articulated bus from BYD and Marcopolo
Brazil - BYD Brasil Ltda, headquartered in Campinas (SP) and Marcopolo SA of Caxias do Sul (RS), have completed production and bodywork, respectively, of the first 100% electric articulated bus in Brazil.
The new 22m-long electric bus features the BYD D11B low floor chassis with BYD’s latest lithium iron phosphate battery technology. Called the Attivi Express model, it was presented by Marcopolo at its headquarters in Caxias do Sul.
