Germany / Sweden - Daimler Buses of Stuttgart, Germany has completed delivery of its largest ever order from Sweden: A total of 112 Mercedes-Benz Intouro (106 vehicles) and Setra S 416 LE MultiClass business (6 vehicles) interurban buses have been supplied to Mohlins Bussar in Sweden. From January 2021 the Swedish company will operate the buses together with its subcontractors, Gimo Buss & Taxi and Högbergs Bussresort, in the Upplands län region, north of Stockholm. They are mainly used as school buses, but also on interurban lines.

Both bus models feature comfortable seating with 710mm between the seats and three-point seat belts, a breath alcohol ignition interlock device and a reversing camera. The Intouro versions are equipped with passenger lifts and the Setra interurban bus has a low-entry design with a folding ramp for wheelchairs at the rear door. All 112 buses are powered by Mercedes-Benz six-cylinder in-line 220kW (299hp) OM 936 engines and fully automated Mercedes-Benz GO 250-8 PowerShift bus transmissions. The engines are to be fuelled with hydrogenated vegetable oil (HVO).
