Penske orders 750 E-Transit vans from Ford

USA – Dearborn, Michigan-based Ford Motor Co has received an order from Penske Truck Leasing for 750 units of its E-Transit cargo van. Initially, Penske’s E-Transit vans will be made available in Southern California, with other locations in the US to be phased in later in the year. The E-Transit vans are Penske’s first light-duty electric trucks to be made available to its rental and leasing customers.

The order from Penske follows other significant orders for the E-Transit, with Walmart and DHL previously ordering almost 2,000 units between them.
