EnergyAustralia to build charging infrastructure for heavy-duty vehicles in Australia

Australia – Australian electricity supplier, EnergyAustralia Pty Ltd (a subsidiary of China Light and Power Holdings Ltd) of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia has announced plans to support heavy-duty truck and bus electrification by working closely with operators around planning and building charging infrastructure throughout Australia; initially targeting the states of South Australia, Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland and the Australian Capital Territory.

The project is expected to begin in 2023 with a specific focus on the grid connection, solar, battery, chargers, maintenance, monitoring and public charging.
