Another strong year for the Krone Group

Germany – The Krone Group of Spelle, Germany (a producer of agricultural equipment and on-road trailing equipment (ie commercial vehicles - containers and container chassis, swap bodies and semi-trailers)) last month released record figures for Group operations for the year ending July 31, 2019. The privately–owned company, recorded a turnover of EUR2.24m (2018/19); this was a 5.16% increase on the previous year (2017/18) of EUR2.13bn.
Domestic sales in Germany generated EUR692.7m (31% of total revenues), which corresponded to a rise of EUR109.8m or 18.8% on the previous year. The Agricultural Equipment unit accounted for 28.3% of domestic sales, while its Commercial Vehicles division (trailer axles, trailer chassis and semi-trailer business) accounted for 71.4% of domestic revenues.
