Through Webfleet’s OEM connect program, Krone trailers equipped with factory-installed telematics can now be directly integrated into the Webfleet platform, eliminating the need for aftermarket hardware installations.​

The Krone Commercial Vehicle Division generated EUR 1.58 billion in revenues, a decrease of 26.1% compared with 2023 figures of EUR 2.14 billion.

By integrating Mapon's platform with Krone's trailers and container chassis, Krone can offer its customers access to critical data such as real-time location, cold storage temperatures, door security status, and tyre pressure on a single dashboard. This should help clients run fleets more efficiently, saving time and therefore money.

Opened in September 2013, this facility has been servicing local demand and has been supplying 31 different countries in Europe, the Middle and Far East, Africa and South America for over a decade. Krone says that 63 per cent of the trailers produced at this factory are for export.

Dr Tono Nasch is appointed to Krone’s Supervisory Board bringing experience and skills in automated testing technology and electromobility to the company as Krone looks to meet the challenges of electrification, automation and digitalisation.

Krone announced that CTE Trailers will start as the new official importer for Krone in Bulgaria, replacing Krone BG Ltd. This is due to the rising demand for Krone trailers in the country as CTE Trailers has a large service network (five authorised service partners) offering comprehensive after-market services.

Krone appointed two new sales managers to strengthen the UK sales team as demand for Krone trailers increases throughout the region.

Currently, in its fifth generation, the Profi Liner now features a new multi-lock outer frame, more than 3,000 lashing possibilities for securing loads and is now available with numerous telematics functions.
