FUSO eCanters delivered to Post NL

Germany / The Netherlands / Portugal - Daimler Trucks AG of Stuttgart, Germany has delivered a further four Fuso eCanters to PostNL, the Dutch postal service. Post NL was one of the launch customers of the Fuso eCanter, initially acquiring two of the 7.49t gvw trucks. The vehicles are operated in the inner-city distribution service of Stadslogistiek, an urban delivery initiative of PostNL, running in The Hague (2 vehicles), Nijmegen, Tilburg, Amersfoort, and Maastricht.
With a range of 100-kilometres, the Fuso eCanter meets the inner-city short-range distribution requirements of Stadslogistiek. They are recharged overnight. So far, 18 Fuso eCanter trucks from Daimler Trucks’ small series-production in Tramagal, Portugal, have been delivered to customers in the Netherlands.
