Foton Aumark do Brasil gets Foton China’s active backing to expand in Brazil

Brazil - Since the beginning of this year, the operation of Foton Aumark do Brasil of Guarulhos, State of São Paulo, now a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Foton Motor Group in Beijing, has gained the full support of the Chinese parent company, and it plans to intensify operations on the Brazilian market. (Previously, Foton Aumark do Brasil was a representative company with the rights to import the Foton product range as well as a licence to produce some models).
Darren Lu, representative of Chinese Foton and responsible for the brand’s business in Brazil, says Brazil has a high strategic importance in the globalization plans of the brand. Lu said: “For more than a decade we have carefully studied the Brazilian market. We entered the country through our commercial representation, at the hands of Brazilians with indisputable knowledge of the national market. We understand it to be the most appropriate time to begin this new stage, now with our direct cooperation in the operation.”
