The ‘Smart Panda Bus’ by DeepBlue Technology sparks interest at AI summit in China

ChinaDeepblue Technology (Shanghai) Co Ltd, a Shanghai-based Artificial Intelligence (AI) specialist, revealed its latest developments in transportation, called the Smart Panda Bus, at the latest China New Generation Artificial Intelligence Development Summit in Shanghai, last month.

DeepBlue Technology said it is looking to redefine public transportation, claiming the Smart Panda Bus is a multi-functional AI-based autonomous vehicle incorporating eight different core technologies that work together to solve various pain points for commuters across the world. For instance, passengers may access the bus simply by swiping their hands through a biometric identification system. While an on-board an AI robot may be used to monitor and record any anti-social behaviour in real time. Also included is an intelligent emergency escape system.
