SABIC acquires Black Diamond Structures

Saudi Arabia / USA - Saudi Arabia Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC), global manufacturer of petrochemicals, fertilisers, industrial polymers and metals, headquartered in Riyadh, has taken a majority stake in Black Diamond Structures LLC, a nanotechnology company from Austin, Texax, established in 2014.

BDS produces and sells Molecular Rebar, a proprietary technology of modified carbon nanotubes offering great potential for enhancing the performance of energy storage applications using lead-acid and lithium-ion batteries.
