Fuso unveils Canter Commute bus in Philippines

Philippines / Japan - Mitsubishi Motors Philippines of Santa Rosa, Laguna, Philippines in November unveiled a production model of the Fuso Canter Commute, a light-duty bus designed to replace the Jeepney as the country’s main public utility vehicle (PUV).

The Canter Commute, based on the Canter truck chassis, is a PUV Class 2 model which complies with the Philippine National Standard (PNS). It joins a growing range of similar vehicles developed by local rivals such as Hino, Isuzu, UD Trucks and Foton.
