UK – The UK Government has announced further funding of GBP48m for assisting acquisition of up to 263 ultra-low emission buses. The funding covers additional cost above the price of a conventional diesel engine powered unit and also applies to the installation of necessary infrastructure – such as charge stations.

This round of funding follows the Government's 2018 publication of its GBP1.5bn 'Road to Zero' strategy. Funding is made available through the Office of Low Emission Vehicles (OLEV) and has been allocated to 19 successful applications across the country.
