UK – Bridgend-based Backwatch Safety Products is launching a long-life version of its TICK GPS tracking device, which offers battery life of around 10 years making it ideally suited for fitment on containers or trailers.

Backwatch, a long-established supplier of reversing sensors, blind spot cameras, multi-cam video recording and ultrasonic detection equipment, found an enthusiastic market for its earlier wireless magnetic GPS TICK product which has a myriad of uses as an asset tracking and theft alert system in frequent use situations. The new version, Big TICK, only requires charging once every 10 years. Both are controllable via android or Apple apps or a web browser. The package does not require a contract and there are a number of options on airtime bundles.
