MAN to introduce latest Euro VI step D engine at CV Show

UK - MAN Truck & Bus UK Ltd will present a range of vehicles at the Commercial Vehicle Show ranging from the 3.5 tonne TGE 'flat frame' Chassis Cowl and 5.0 tonne TGE UK-built 17 seat Minibus, to the 6x2 TGX XLion Flagship tractor – all receiving their UK premiere showing. Its outside display is to feature a TGX 41.640 8x4/4 BBS Heavy Haulage prime mover.

Also making its debut is the new D15 engine which meets Euro VI step D emissions requirements. The six-cylinder 9.0-litre unit offers power ratings of up to 440bhp and maximum torque of 1,970Nm between 1,150 and 1,300rpm. It has a dry weight of 830kg. Its common rail fuel system operates at 2,500 bar and works in conjunction with a single variable geometry turbocharger.
