Slovakia - Sygic, a Bratislava-based navigation software company, unveiled its latest version of its Truck Navigation, an in-dash connected truck navigation system at the MWC 2019 in Barcelona last month. It featured truck routing and other useful features specially crafted for commercial drivers. Sygic demonstrated the Truck Navigation capabilities at the show whilst connected to Ford’s SYNC digital platform. This latest version is to enable users to project cutting-edge 3D offline navigation onto the in-dash infotainment system and benefit from a variety of new safety features.

Martin Strigac, CEO of Sygic said: “We have been pioneering the connectivity since 2014. The truck segment is, for us, another milestone, with numerous possibilities in the connectivity segment, which will be unveiled soon.” Sygic (Strigac) says it is currently in discussions with heavy truck manufacturers to provide its services integrated with infotainment systems into all leading brands.
