VW exports to Ecuador

Brazil / Ecuador - Volkswagen Caminhões e Ônibus (VW) of Resende, Rio de Janeiro has sold and shipped 52 Volksbus buses with the new Neobus New Mega body to the public transportation operator in Cuenca, Ecuador; the county’s third largest city. The buses were supplied via VW’s official representative in the country, Fisum SA.

The Volksbus buses featured a 17.260 OD chassis fitted with the MAN D08 6-cylinder Euro V emissions* compliant engine, which has a power rating of 256hp and torque of 900Nm. The vehicles meet Euro V emissions using EGR, SCR and DPF.
