Woodall Nicholson acquires JM Engineering and Promech Solutions

UK - Woodall Nicholson Holdings Ltd (WNHL) of Bolton, England, has acquired the entire share capital of Scarborough-based JM Engineering Ltd and Promech Solutions Ltd. The WNHL Group consists of Rotherham-based Coleman Milne, Coleman Milne Specialist Vehicles, Mellor Coachcraft Ltd (a specialist mini- and midi-bus builder) and minibus van converter, Treka Bus Ltd of Brighouse.

JM Engineering and Promech Solutions are both based on the Plaxton Park Manufacturing Site in Scarborough providing both engineering consultancy and services, including laser cutting. Owned and founded by Mark Eccles, they have generated an excellent reputation as suppliers to the vehicle manufacturing sector. Both businesses are to continue to operate from their existing Scarborough facilities and Eccles is to continue as Managing Director.
