UK - BPW Ltd of Leicester said at last month’s CV Show said it was on schedule to have assembled 250,000 trailer axles by September this year, a significant milestone since it began assembling axles some ten years ago.

Neil Groves, sales director at the BPW Ltd said at the show said that in 2018 it assembled some 40,000 axles. Groves explained the modular assembly system at its facilities in Leicester gives BPW the flexibility to configure the axles late into the supply chain. This means BPW can adjust to customer market demand and most particularly, to adjust the assembly to any late changes in vehicle specification.
