GTS Auto Tech – a new name in body building

India - GTS Auto Tech of Manjambakkam, Chennai, a newly created company and new subsidiary of GTS Trade Solutions Pvt Ltd, has been established to build a range of new commercial vehicle bodies such as containers, bulkers (rigid and semi-trailers), other semi-trailer types and buses at a newly constructed facility in Redhills, Chennai. This manufacturing facility, which extends to 36,000 sq ft (3,345 sq m) with a covered area of 1200 sq m has been built with an investment budget of USD5.0m. It is being equipped with tools and machinery considered necessary to make a variety of containers, trailers and buses.
A separate division has also been developed to deliver advanced technologies such as AI (artificial Intelligence) and ICT (Information and Communication Technology), Internet of Things or IoT (linked up production processing), and so on for global market. GTS says it is now seeking technology partners to develop innovative products in India for the Indian market.
