ICAT links with IT firm Altair to create new simulation and testing centre for new mobility vehicles

India / USA International Centre for Automotive Technology of India (ICAT)1 of Gurugram, Haryana, India and Altair Engineering Inc2, a multinational information technology company headquartered in Troy, Michigan, USA have signed a Minute of Understanding (MoU) to create a simulation and testing facility for the emerging mobility market.

As per the MoU, the two entities plan to co-operate to create a simulation and testing centre to meet the needs of the existing and emerging mobility vehicles – namely natural gas, electric and hybrid vehicles.
Both Altair and ICAT intend to set-up joint working initiatives to realise their respective visions and align their responsibilities.
