Edbro, a brand and tipping gear division of Germany’s Jost Group, based in Bolton, UK, used Tip-Ex 2019 last month to launch its latest generation hydraulic cylinder for ejection trailers.

The new so-called CD cylinder range is an all-new design of double acting, telescopic cylinder that replaces its RK range of cylinders. The CD range is a double acting telescopic cylinder; meaning it can both push and pull using hydraulic power. The design, which is based on Edbro’s C-Series of tipping cylinders, offers strokes of up to 11.5 metres, push forces reaching 80 tonnes and corrosion-resistant chrome plating as standard.
