UK / Singapore – Global tyre manufacturer, Giti Tire, headquartered in Singapore, launched its own tyre pressure monitoring system, Giti Fleet SMART at the CV Show. Developed in conjunction with TyreWatch.com, the equipment provides constant monitoring of tyre pressures with instant notification of any problem through its cab display and to the workshop, aiding both drivers and fleet management to identify potential tyre failures and to take appropriate action. Immediate decisions can be made as to whether it is safe to continue operation to the nearest service point or to call for roadside assistance through the 24-hour GitiAssist support network.

Founded in 1993, Giti Tire has grown to over 35,000 global employees and distributes to more than 130 countries. European R&D facilities are in Hanover and the MIRA facility in the UK. It also has global research and development centres in China, Indonesia and the USA.
