Sweden – UITP in Sweden last month saw Luminator Technologies Group (LTG) display four new products introduced recently to market.

Peter Johansson, managing director for Scandinavia, UK and Australia explained that for Transport for London it has developed an LED destination board with higher density ‘pixel’ reduced from 8mm to 3mm to provide higher definition destination near continuous signage required by the UK’s capital city public transport authority. LTG has also developed passenger directional flows signs – such as no entry, pram / wheelchair access only etc - for mounting inside the bus passenger doors to optimise passenger flow. These signs are being tested as a concept via the Electrocity trials involving the Gothenburg Public Transport Authority, Volvo Bus and LTG.
