Van Hool to launch EX11 at Busworld

Belgium / Macedonia – Koningshooikt-based coachbuilder, Van Hool NV is planning to launch an 11m version of its EX touring coach at this year's Busworld exhibition in Brussels (18-23 October). The coach is to be available with body heights of 3.5m and 3.8m and a maximum passenger capacity of 47 – depending on customer specification. It extends the existing EX15, EX16 and EX17 range and will also be built at Van Hool's plant in Skopje, Macedonia.

The 3.5m high EX11L offers luggage locker capacity of 4.14 cubic metres and is powered by the DAF MX11 270 (367hp / 1,900Nm) as standard or the DAF MX11 300 (408hp / 2,100Nm) as an option. The 3.8m high EX11H has 7.2 cubic metres of luggage space. It has the DAF MX11 300 engine or an option of DAF MX11 330 (449hp / 2,300Nm). All models can be specified with GO210(230) manual gearboxes or optional ZF TraXon automated or ZF EcoLife automatic transmissions.
