Europe - The remanufacturing* sector in the commercial vehicle industry is expected to be worth EUR90bn by 2030, according to aftermarket parts supplier and parts remanufacturing CV brake specialist, Roadlink International of Willenhall, UK.

Roadlink states: “The perception of remanufacturing is changing in the automotive industry and with it an understanding from fleet operators of how important the product is to an optimum total cost of ownership (TCO) of a truck or fleet. Remanufactured major components such as engines, gearboxes, axles, suspension and brakes form a core to the sector which is further extended through the availability of remanufactured ancillary equipment such as starters, alternators, pumps, hydraulics, tyres – and so on.”
