MZKT plans entry to new segment with new terminal tractor

Belarus – The Minsk Wheel Tractor Plant (MZKT) of Minsk, Belarus, is preparing to enter a new market segment with its launch of the MZKT-730240 terminal tractor truck. The vehicle, which MZKT claims is unparalleled in the CIS is has been designed specifically for the transportation of container semi-trailers at port terminals. It combines all typical features of a terminal tractor – it is just 5.77m long, highly maneuverable, good visibility due to a large volume of glazing, hydraulically lifted fifth wheel, sliding door to the rear of the cab and rotating driver’s seat.
