Volvo and Samsung SDI form alliance to develop battery modules for commercial vehicles

Sweden / South Korea - Volvo Group of Gothenburg, Sweden and Samsung SDI of Yongin, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea have entered a strategic alliance to develop battery packs for Volvo’s electric trucks. They aim to accelerate the speed of development and strengthen the long-term capabilities and assets within electromobility, to the benefit of customers in different truck segments and markets.
