Hyundai through Avtotor introduces Mighty medium truck to Russian market

South Korea / Russia – Hyundai’s range of medium-duty trucks assembled at the Avtotor plant in Kaliningrad is to be broadened and extended with the market introduction of Hyundai’s range of medium-duty trucks known as Mighty.

The Mighty EX9 truck model has a gross vehicle weight of 8.5 tons, which Hyundai states extends its medium duty truck gross weight by 700kg from 7.8 tons gvw with the current HD78 model. Sales of EX9 are to begin this month (September), whereas sales of two other Mighty models, the EX6 and EX8 with corresponding gvws of 6.5t and 7.8t are to start in November. All vehicles are fitted with Euro V engines.
