Thailand’s Transport Co tenders bid for 314 buses for Bangkok

Thailand - Thailand’s state-owned public transport services operator, Transport Co in June held an online bidding process for the supply of 314 buses to strengthen its national and international bus network.

The Bangkok-based company, headquartered in the Chatuchak district, plans to announce the winner of the bidding process at the end of the year, with a view to taking delivery of the buses in 2020. The company has set aside THB2.2bn (USD72m) to lease the buses under a four-year contract.
