Bridgestone launches new bus and truck tyre range in Brazil

Brazil / Japan - Bridgestone do Brasil Indústria e Comércio Ltda of Santo André, São Paulo State, has expanded its bus and truck tyre range in Brazil with the launch of the M842 radial tyre for use on steering axles on trucks and buses and the L325 tyre, designed for use on truck drive axles for short- and medium-distance applications.
The Bridgestone M842 model provides performance and safety for users of mixed radial tyres. It is produced with a new tread compound that provides up to 15% longer service life compared with its predecessor (M840 tire) and has a split canvas that allows for less stone retention, greater cut resistance and greater resilience to perforations and cracks. The M842 tyre is available in two sizes of 275 / 80R22.5 and 295 / 80R22.5; the former has a Grade A wet grip, according to the criteria laid out by Inmetro for the Brazilian Tire Labelling Program (PBE).
