FPT South American engine output tops 500,000-unit milestone

Brazil / ArgentinaFPT Industrial Brasil and FTP Industrial Argentina - the components subsidiaries in the region of CNH Industrial NV, which includes engines, axles, transmissions and power generators - have passed a total of 500,000 engines to be made in South America. Work carried out at its factories in Cordoba, Argentina, and Sete Lagoas, Brazil, have produced 508,511 engines in the last ten years for the commercial vehicle sector, agricultural tractors, construction equipment, power generation and marina segments.

Last year, FPT produced 25,008 units at the Brazilian plant and 17,036 at the Argentine plant, which are responsible for the NEF and Cursor series engines. The Brazilian unit is dedicated to the production of the F1, NEF and S8000 engine families.
