Mellor Coachcraft to break new ground at Busworld

UK - Mellor Coachcraft Ltd of Rochdale, a manufacturer of accessible low floor vehicles, is to launch a new niche product at Busworld Europe 2019 this month, designed specifically for the demand responsive transportation (DRT) market. The company believes the potential of the DRT sector has fallen short in several areas and the introduction of this new addition to the range should go a long way to filling the gap and addressing the issues.
Mellor says the new model benefits from easy access, coupled with a passenger space honed to suit the needs of today’s travellers. The company has also recognised that patronage often falls short when standard minibuses are used and a change in passenger experience is needed to improve perception, to increase ridership and provide operators with a product that delivers on all levels.
