Brazil - Phillipp Schiemer, the president of Mercedes-Benz do Brasil Ltda and CEO of Latin America, based in São Bernardo do Campo, SP ahead of the Fenatrans Show this month announced the New Actros truck, which is to be launched in 2020, would revolutionize the extra-heavy vehicle segment in Brazil and provide customers with the smartest, most secure, connected, and efficient model of all time.

Schiemer added that with Novo Actros he is sure Mercedes-Benz will mark the evolution of road freight transport in Brazil and South America, simply because none of its competitors have so many technological resources gathered into a single truck. Most noticeable in Novo Actros is the unprecedented cabin, which has been specifically developed to meet the characteristics of the Brazilian market; as well as being the most technically advanced truck it has more internal space and much improved external aerodynamics, which contributes to better fuel consumption.
