Volare links with dealer representative for Cameroon and other African countries

Brazil / Cameroon - Small and medium-duty bus builder, Volare SA of Caxias do Sul, Brazil, a subsidiary of Marcopolo S.A., is planning to intensify export sales to countries in Africa. In June, Volare, in partnership with its SMT* (Service Machinery Trucks) representative, in the city of Douala, Cameroon it displayed different Volare models specifically developed for the region and with special attention given to the Fly 10 bus for intercity use.  

According to Rodrigo Bisi, Volare's export manager, the goal was to raise awareness of the Volare brand on the African continent. It has appointed several new representatives recently with significant coverage in the region to increase its dealer sales network and technical support for customers. Bisi said: “SMT has been a Volare partner since 2015. It is also the leading Volvo dealer for commercial vehicles in Africa and Europe and is represented in 26 countries worldwide. It also has the structure and technical staff needed to leverage Volare vehicle sales.”
